Where quality and craftsmanship are affordable, and service is a way of life. Carats was opened on March 17, 1987, by Eric and Dorothy Phillips. For years, we were the only family owned and operated jeweler in the Ridgedale Shopping Center in Minnetonka, Minnesota and the only Ridgedale jewelry store doing its own custom work and repairs on-premise. Now we've moved to a more central location in the Waterford Plaza near Hwy 55 and Hwy 169 to better serve you! Carats has one of the largest collections of loose colored gems in the upper Midwest, and is a member of the American Gem Trade Association. We also feature loose diamonds, mountings in 18 karat and 14 karat gold, platinum, and palladium, as well as unique, well-made jewelry of all sorts.
